Melbourne College of Hair and Beauty (MCOHB), established in 1962, has been a leader in hair and beauty training for over 60 years. As one of Melbourne’s longest-running privately-owned Registered Training Organisations (RTO), we offer a wide range of nationally recognised courses from Certificate III to Advanced Diploma levels in Hairdressing, Beauty Therapy, Natural Medicine, Business, and Make-Up.
Hands-On Learning
Our well-established salons are open to the public, giving students practical experience with real paying clients. With many days fully booked, students gain valuable industry experience in a professional setting.
Flexible Training Options
MCOHB offers customised training and flexible learning modes to suit your needs. Our courses are based on nationally endorsed competency standards, ensuring you receive vocational education of the highest standard.
Global Reach
We are a registered CRICOS training provider (Training Provider No: 02886G). International students holding a current Australian visa that permits studying VET courses are welcome to enroll in any of our programs. Our courses are approved by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), the national VET regulator.

MCOHB has extensive connections with industry professionals and suppliers, enabling students to participate in various industry events and product marketing activities, such as hair shows, photo shoots, and competitions.
